Snapchat was launched back in 2011 as a modest image sharing app, with images only available for a few seconds, unlike most other social media images once uploaded they are there to stay. Originally launched as Picaboo by the developers Brown and Spiegel the app has since become a real challenge to the big boy’s like Facebook and Twitter.
